Light Sabers and Baseball: Family Session, Hummer Park, Downers Grove, IL

Summer is so crazy.  Kids out of school, photo sessions and working my other job has gotten me way backed up in the area of sharing all the awesome images I've been capturing.  No excuses, I know, I know.  I'm all about the hustle- but for reals, keeping up on things during the school year is so much easier.  Anyway, enough of this.

I got to spend an hour long session with these awesome folks and their rockin' kiddos!

Usually I give my clients a questionnaire before our session, just to get to know them a little better and cast a vision for their time with me.  When I asked for the three words that describe them as a family, the number one word was "fun."  And they were SO. MUCH. FUN.

Though shy at first, the eldest opened up after he realized he mostly just got to use lightsabers and play baseball.  Come on?  Best photo session ever in the eyes of a young boy right?

The family baseball game was my favorite time of the session.  With both boys having played all day long in the heat, I wasn't sure if they would be up for yet another game, but they certainly were.  Even mom got in on the action!

We ended our time together with a few quick shots in the field and a little time on the playground.

Martinez Fam- you rocked it!  Thanks for a fun session!
